Window transition animation - Problem

Hi All,

Apologies if I'm going over old ground. I had a look around to see if there were any other threads related to my problem. Couldn't see any.

Aero runs on my Dell XPS M1530 running Vista Business (with a score of 4.8). Transparency is on, 3D Flip works but the Mininmize/Maximize windows animations aren't.

I've tried disabling/enabling the 'Animate windows when minimizing or maximising' in 'Perfomance Options' but this hasn't work. I've have it set to 'Adjust for best appearance' with all options enabled.

The windows minimze/maximize just like they would in XP.

When I first recieved the notebook, the animations worked perfectly so I can't understand why they don't now.

I've tried everything I can think of.

Deos anyone have any ideas how to get the animations working again?

Hi,

try the following...

Right Click on Desktop then select Properties and then Themes.

Choose Windows Classic.

Reboot

Then go back and set your options again,
