Vista Freezes at startup for 3 or more minutes!
Hi,
i have another big problem with vista. i optimized all the settings to run at top speed. i activated two core processing on boot, from msconfig and adjust memory from that point to my entire memory. i have bitdefender 11 total security installed and there is no symantec services running at background. all of the services are eliminated to reach the maximum speed as possible (except microsoft services).
the boot time was gratifying for me but after i have installed nitropdf, the sidebar vanished and the computer began to run slowly at startup. And the most important issue is the freezing after 3 minutes from boot for 3 or more minutes. At the freezing moment, hdd activity is a regular form of read and/or write very small amount of data (hdd lamp likes a flashing lamp that flash twice a second) and the computer is not able to respond any commands for three minutes (all of the commands that ordered at freezing moment bombards the computer after freezing event)
if any suggestions to solve this problem, please post. i will try and write the result of your post back to help others.
