error 339 & 1904 while installing ‘Premium TV for PC’

I have purchased and tried to install “Premium TV for PC.” My OS is: MS Vista Bus 64bit. This is a downloaded zipped file that was copied to a CD and then extracted onto that same CD. While installing, I received the following error: [ error 1904. Module C:\windows\syswow64\actskn43.ocx failed to register. HRESULT-2147220991 ] The program does not open and the following error now occurs: [ Run-time error '339': Component 'actskn43.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid ] I did not have the ‘sctkn43.ocx’ file on my drive. I found that ‘ActiveX Control’ file on line and then installed into my folder: ‘C:\Windows\System32’ It still does not work. Suggestion? I REALLY am wondering about the legitimacy of the program. They have not as of yet responded to my customer support email. Thoughts about the Program?

I am having the same problem except I can get it to work on vista 32, XP, but not vista64. The files are installed where I think they should be. Any luck yet?

Sad to say, I gave up on this because not finding a way to install it. I have been using pod cast connections via 'VLC media' that works well enough. Also 'Premium TV for PC' is not so "Premium" sense they never answered back! . . . nor do I have the time to pursue it. I'm glad your 32 bit works. I would still like to know how to make my Vista 64 bit work.

First: Why not unzip the Premium TV for PC compressed files directly to your computer's hard drive--not CD. I always use Winzip which makes this process very simple and you get a 45-day free trial period.

Second: As a suggestion, Vista users should refer to the following sites for more details and solutions concerning these kinds of problems. See links below...

Third: If running the Premium TV for PC (or any PC Satellite TV software) on a Vista OS and it crashes, the problem usually stems from a conflict with WMP11 (Windows Media Player 11). See links above.

Fourth: Contact the merchant via email for assistance. If no response within 1-2 business days, contact ClickBank where sales/refunds/complaints are made. I had to use an online payment processor similar to ClickBank to get them to contact the merchant, who didn't respond to my email. No one should ever go through this. Nevertheless, it's another option to use when trying to contact the merchant with a problem.
