Vista VPN Setup Fails
I'm trying to setup a VPN connection on a new Vista Business (SP1) laptop. I've first installed the RSA Authentication Agent 6.1.2 (EAP Client). Now, when I try to run the VPN setup wizard, it doesn't set it up.
Using the wizard, these are the steps I've followed:
1) On the "Chose a connection option", I clicked "Connect to a workplace"
2) When promped for "How do you want to connect", I click "Use my internet connection (VPN)".
3) For the prompt "Type the Internet address to connect to", I provide the IP address provided by my System Administrator (who, by the way, was unable to assist in getting this issue resolved so I'm on my own). Also, I checked the box "Don't connect now; just setup so I can connect later"
4) In the "Type your user name and password" screen, I entered the User name, password, and domain, then clicked "Create".
5) I receive an error from the wizard stating "The wizard cannot connect", with options to "Try Again", "Diagnose the problem", or "Setup the connection anyway". I chose the latter.
6) At this point, the wizard ends but no connection has been setup.
Any ideas?
