Explorer.exe causing major problems
I am experiencing major issues with explorer.exe. First of all, it freezes up anytime I right click on the task bar. Secondly, no programs will show up on my start menu, even if i "pin them to start menu". The third problem is, is that explorer.exe is ALWAYS using 50% of my cpu.
The only way i have found to "ignore" the problem is by loading all of my programs with the run command, and anytime explorer.exe freezes up I go into task manager, end task, and reload explorer back up. I just bought this computer, and I knew Vista would have some early issues, but this is ridiculous.
I have ran several virus/spyware removal tools, that have came up with no viruses. My firewalls are always turned on. I have ran the sfc scan and it came up with errors that couldn't be fixed but none of which were related to explorer.exe.
If anyone has any idea how to fix this I would GREATLY appreciate it!
Thank You.
