Task Bar Error
My laptop boots fine and works....bt after a while a combination of the following happens and i'm forced to ctrl+alt+del and reboot...
-start button stops responding when clicked on
- quick launch and windows on the task bar shift to the left, some off screen, some behind the start button, and dont respond to be clicked on
- clock and icons on the right disappear
-task bar fades into white
-windows on the task bar develop shaddows, and dont respond
I don't know why this happens, I havent noticed any patterns with what im doing just before it crashes and ive not had the laptop long so havent much extra software on it. All my files are on an external hard drive so theyre seperate.
Also, its a packard bell. i had a packard bell before and it had the same issue but Comet just refunded me and never gave a cause or anything?
Can anyone help? any ideas?
