Windows Update Displaying Unusually

I don't know if this is the right section for this, but anyway, when I had Windows Vista Home Premium, windows update was displaying in a weird way, making it so I could't see anything other than the search/cancel button and the progress bar.

This somehow sorted itself out, and a few months later, I had to uninstall it due to netwoking/sound problems.

Now, I have Vista Ultimate and am getting the same errors.

I was wondering if there was a fix available for this?

It appears that Vista Service Pack 1 has fixed this problem, so it doesn't matter that nobody seems to be moderating and answering requests on these forums
