Cant transfer pictures from windows photo gallery to usb flashcard

Every avenue I've tried to transfer my pictures from windows photo gallery to a usb flashdrive has got me nowhere, except frustrated. I've usually managed to learn my way around and figure out what to do, but I'm stumped. It could be easy but not when you feel you've run out of options to try. I'm so hopeful that you can HELP! Sooo Hoping to get some advice.
