vista wont load

ok im having the following problem

i start my computer it gets past the vista loading bar and then a black screen

IF i let it sit for 10 minutes or more it will go to the log in screen and work fine

i tryed using the repair off the cd it loads, gets to the blue screen and i get a blank screen with a mouse courser

i get the menu with the start normally safe mode and last know good start up attempt

ive tryed all and safemode does not work

at the top of that screen says windows had an error while starting and recomends the following (which is just putting the cd in and running the repair which does not work read above)

if someone could help that would be apreciated thanks
