My computer restarting this past weekend and when it came back on very few of the icons work. The icons in by the start menu, the ones in the start menu that i have recently used and the ones in the start menu program list. Oh and the desktop shortcuts don't work either.
THe only way to open a program is to find the exe file in the program folder. I have no idea what happened or even where to start.
oh when I click on the icons are all little explorer icons with a white page and the blue e. Even the show desktop icon. When I click on them an explorer page shows really quickly and disappears then a file download security warning comes up that asks if I want to open the file 'show desktop.ink' it says it is a ink_auto_file type.
