Vista ultimate64 SP1 upgrade problem
Help,Hopefully someone out there can solve this. After finally getting Vista64 running for months well I got the notification SP1 was downloaded & asked to install..Upon the install it loaded #1 & #2 just fine at 10% on #3 the install quit & I had the message on my screen" Oxc0000034 !! 291/123195 (_000000000000000.cdf-ms) & the computer hung there..On reboot I get to the screen asking Safe Mode ...Start windows normally or Last known good configuration...I have tried all 3 options...none works all end up with the computer haning up with the same screen note.

Hi scooterr,

only thing to do here would be to do a repair.... see John Barnett's Windows Vista Support: Repair A Vista Installation Using The Upgrade Option Of The Vista DVD
