access denied

I downloaded a program from the Internet that requires a registration number. when I put in the # and close the program I get a long error message,and when I reopen it I have to enter the # again.The error message starts out like this.

XF HOST ERROR_Sopen 1018 13 access is denied

Hi Seabo,

try right click on the program icon and select "Run As Administrator"

Thanks Steve for the reply.No change I still get a setup page with a blank registration space and a pop up saying that i am running a unregistered copy of the program.

try uninstall the program and reinstall it by right clicking on the install program and select "Run As Administrator"
