Photoshop CS3 and blue screen

Hi Guys.
I can’t install Photoshop CS3 in my Ultimate as soon as I reboot I get the blue screen…..
Also to make matters worse I can’t uninstall it even in safe mode …….thank goodness for system restore!
Can’t find a patch on Adobe or Microsoft anyone know a way around this?

do you have any details of the Blue Screen, error codes, etc...

You should find the Blue Screen error in the Event Viewer,

Hi Steve.
I'm afraid not as I couldn't boot up so I did a complete system restore. I tried twice to install Photoshop with same result each time. It seems certain rigs have this problem with photoshop CS and with Elements as well.

Hi Guys.
Me again, I have just downloaded the latest Photoshop as a trial, installed it and same as before when I rebooted the lovely blue screen. Also as before couldn't uninstall it in Safe mode. I think, for me, it’s defiantly proof that Adobe Photoshop is not going to play ball on this rig at the moment.
Did see some error codes when in safe mode but for the life of me I couldn't copy and paste um to anything and when your dyslexic there’s no way you can copy that by hand, looks like Egyptian hieroglyphics!

I see CS3 does not work with Vista Home Basic or any 64 bit version.

Hi Steve.
Yea I found it a few days ago but still no, it's not a big problem as I still have use of PShop on my dual boot with XP.
Hopefully there will be a patch or something soon.
