outlook express error
While using outlook express I keep receiving this message

"There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'mail.piualto.com (1)', Server: 'mail.piualto.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Login failed.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92"
after i am asked for my username and password.

unfortunately i have deleted the original password, i have read many threads but have yet to get the right answer. i have created new accounts with alternate details etc and checked the info in Tools-accounts-properties but nothing seems to work. is it a case that i need an original password, can anyone help

P.s. its for e-mails in a business so dont think my boss will be very happy when i tell him i cant write or receive e-mails from suppliers and customers

Hi hotsauce,

yes you will need the original username and password. Do you have someone working in IT where you work that you can ask?

Are you the only person with access to the email account?

If you could find out who setup the email they might know???

Good luck and let us know how you get on,

regards

Steve
