Corrupted files in Vista can not be fixed
I have HP Pavilion dfv6570ee pwer by Vista home Premium. I ran SFC/Scannow as a routine check and I got a message telling that there are some corrupted files that cauld not be fixed although I have no appearant problem. How can I fix this problem.

Hi amindanial,

welcome aboard

I am afraid that you may have to do a complete reinstallation of Vista. Please check with HP before though.

On Vista versions higher than Home, like business and Ultimate there are ways of getting these files back but not in Home editions,

Why this problem occurs in the first place???? it may be because of one of windows updates, isn't it????? I always deal with my OS with much care, Why these problems come up??????????
