Cannot Delete an old AVG.

I stupidly didnt realise there was a proper tool for this, and got fed up yesterday, and deleted my AVG. I fancied trying Avast..However, Big mistake.... i cannot download the tool, i cannot delete an old AVG 8.5 file. I cannot save or run any downloads.... somebody told me to use CC Cleaner, but I havnt got a clue what I am doing!!! Is there a quick fix for this, i need to get some kind of anti virus... thank you

Have you uninstall the AVG or just delete its folder from the program files......?
You need to install the revo uninstaller to completely uninstall the AVG from your system.
