windows update... HELP!! asap.
i am having trouble trying to get my windows update to work. everytime i click 'check for updates' it automatically goes to 'errors found - code 80070422' then it says 'windows update encountered an unknown error' i have already tried googling it but nobody seems to have any idea on how to fix the problem so i thought would put it on here and see if anybody knows... hopefully =]
also my system restore says it isnt running correctly it has an error code which is 0x81000202 and yet again nobody seems to know either.
thank you for your time and it is much appreicated if somebody can help me.

p.s this is in forum 'windows vista general' aswell because i didnt know what part to put it in. sorry.
