EXE ActiveX in Vista : Unexpected error; quitting
Hi All,
We are migrating our VB6 developed software to MS Vista, but are receiving the error "Unexpected error; quitting"
After doing a lot of mucking around I discovered that this is being caused because our software is set up as a ActiveX EXE. However after changing the software to a Standard EXE the above error message no longer appears.
I know that right clicking a going "Run as administrator" sorts this issue out, but for the no Administrator users it request a Admin user and password that I cant give it to all other users.
If anyone has any suggestions that would be awesome, because we need to prepare our customers for Vista release.
