Can I use 7.x sentinellm license in sentinellm 8.x

Hi
Currently I m using application having sentinellm 7.2.0 SDK license. Now I want to upgrade to sentinellm 8.1.1 so that I can use my application on Vista.
Can I use my application with lock code in 7.2.0 with sentinellm 8.1.1 ?
Do I have to regenerate license code using 8.1.1 ?
currently I got error code 26 (Heap corruption) in sentinellm code while using older license code .
If anyone upgrade sentinellm on vista then plz. help me .
