Camera Seen in Device Mgr but not useable
I've a Kodak DC290 digital camera. Plug it into the USB port and I get the "connected sound". Device manager see's it, but that's as far as it goes. No other program will "see" it, not even hardware installer or "camera/scanner" installer. Had this issue with XP years ago and cannot remember how I conquered it, but think it might be a TWAIN issue. How do I check VISTA for TWAIN? Kodak offer's no help at all, just a firmware update that I have to go buy a card-reader to implement and I had the problem with XP and solved it without that update then. Any ideas that don't require a credit card? thanks! John R.
