HP Scanjet 5590 coupled to HP Laserjet 6L
Hi,

Moved from XP to Vista ( Home Premium ) and found my HP Scanjet 4500c is barely supported, but my printer ( Laserjet 6L ) is still OK for me under Vista drivers.

Now trying to find out that if I buy a HP Scanjet 5590 ( advertised OK for Vista ), whether it will fully function ( " talk to " ) my Laserjet 6L.

Can't get HP to tell me and shop that sold me the Vista PC have expressed severe doubts.

This is only my 2nd posting to anything, 1st to Vistaheads. ( Hope I can work out how to view any response ! ( Thanks )
