Epson c86 and dx8450 installing problem

Hi,
I'm trying to install a C86 and a dx8450 Epson printer on my notebook but I have a big problem: driver is properly installed but printers don't work.
Epson Status Monitor doesn't recognize ink levels, so printers don't work.
Dx8450 can scan, copy but doesn't print.
I opened a call to Epson support but this didn't solve my problems.
I downloaded different driver versions , but with no results. Epson says this could be related to the AMD chipset.
Do you have some idea or suggestion to solve my problem?

OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium sp1
CPU/Ram: AMD Turion X2 Dual core mobile RM-70 2 GHz / 2814 MB
Manufacturer/Model: Asustek computer inc. /F5z
