HP Laserjet 1100 driver

Hello,

I'm changing computers from XP to a Vista operating system. I have an HP laser jet printer that has been great. When I looked for the driver in the Vista dropdown list, I only found HP 1100 (MS) which didn't work as a driver. I've added a DP24 to USB cable adapter. But nothing seems to work. When I use the original installation disks for the printer, a mesage appears saying the driver was not installed.

Any suggestions?
