HP Printer jobs hand in queue & will not finish printing
I have an HP Officejet 6310 All-In-One printer. I purchased it with my HP Pavillion Media Center PC m8100e, a little over 1 year ago.
I have had nothing but problems with it from day one. Mostly this. The printer doesn't finish printing the document, and hangs in the queue. When I click on the name of my printer in the printer tab, and view the document in the queue, there is an 'error - printing' message.
I have restarted the job, but the same thing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer many, many times, but nothing helps. The printer will print a few jobs and then the same problem comes up.
I have contacted HP tech support, but their suggestions have not helped the problem. It helps for a job or two and then repeats the problem.
Also the installation CD that came with the printer is incompatible with Vista. HP tech has guided me to a driver and software download on their site.
If anyone has any solutions to this problem or any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you ~Rita
