Help required with Printer!
 I have not used VISTA before, and based on the problems I'm having installing a printer on a local machine at a friends house, I'll try to avoid using it in the future!!
The person bought a computer from dear old PCWorld and I set everything up fine ... then 3 months later the hard disk completely fails, so they come out and replace it.
Now I've put everything back on, but the printer (a HP Deskjet 610C) doesn't produce anything ... it sends the print job to the queue and it promptly disappears up its own b'side!
I'm thinking it could be rights now, as I get an 'access denied' message when trying to change port details. I am logged in as an administrator so I don't see how this can be.
It's all very frustrating ... can anyone point me in the right direction please? |
