Unable to connect to networks
Recently I was away and unplugged my computer and modem for a months time. Once returning and starting it up I had a red "X" over my network icon at the bottom right of the screen and can't connect to any internet related programs. When I open network connections etc it doesn't see any and when I try to diagnose I try everything and nothing happen solves it. My computer is hooked to a cable modem and it is working, a tried to hook up a wireless modem, installed it,and my computer network won't see it either. Also my printer cannot be added in the "Add Printer" section. I have tried my Norton Antivirus scan and it found nothing. I am not sure if this is virus related or maybe my network drivers? I have seen some similar threads but nothing that solves this. Any ideas?
