Trying to install siemens gigaset se587
Hi,
I'm new to this forum and have joined in the hope that someone can help with my router connection. I have attempted to install from CD and manually a siemens gigaset se587 wireless router to my PC using an ethernet cable (cable is working ok) but the install aborts with the error message 106 and that it cannot detect a connection to the router. I have been in contact with the Tiscali helpline and they have stated that its something to do with the network card which appears to be a Nvidia nForce Networking controller? In the device manager this shows as working ok but there are two microsoft 6to4 adapters that are showing quieries. Would installing a stand alone ethernet card solve the problem? Any help would be gratefully appreciated as I am at the end of my tether with this problem. Thanks
