Cannot detect networking hardware
I've looked all over the net, and I am considering Geek Squad, but I'm a little hesitant shelling out $80. I got a preowned Vista Gateway computer from my uncle, who said he decommissioned it. I don't have a clue what he did, but apparently I am now missing my networking driver.. at first I couldn't connect to the Internet. It kept saying there was no networking hardware or adapter detected or installed. I looked in my device manager, and there's no network anything in there... I also discovered this morning that I cannot delet anything. Once it begins the process of sending the file(s) to the recycle bin, it goes nowhere; the transfer speed remains at 0 kbps/sec and never changes.
I can't delete anything and I can't use the Internet, both problems I need to resolve in a hurry.
