Having trouble connecting to home network
I just brought home a new Dell Inspiron 1525 for my graduating son. This is the first PC I've owned with Vista (Home Premium). I'm trying to connect to our home wireless network, but can't seem to get the network ID to show up in the "available networks" window. I have a nonbroadcasting SSID, but manually configured the network connection and still can't see the network. If I go to the Dell Wireless utility, I can see a very strong signal on my channel but it is still listed as nonbroadcasting (SSID not shown).
I just recently got a new PC for work (XP) and followed this same process with no issues. Any ideas as to what I'm missing?
Thanks for any help.
