Svchost hi cpu

Had a slow Compaq laptop...ran a full cleanup...so now virus free. Updated everything...added itunes and kaspersky. Several processes are jumping up in cpu and staying at 80-90% for five mins. After bootup. Each day there are different svchosts causing the problem. Removed kasperky, as it was adding to the problem. I have process explorer which helps....but there r too many services in question. Fast as fireflies in safemode. Even the hardware interupts can jump up to 35% for a sec.so i updated some of the device drivers. Any suggestions that could me? Btw...cpu acts ok after about 5-10 mins

Go to Windows start.
type "msconfig"
Then go to "services" Tab
Click on "Hide all microsoft services"
Then disable all useless services.
Then go to Startup tab
Disable all programs you do not need at startup.

Now reboot your computer.
