I am getting the same error when trying to install newly released Windows 7 x64 updates released today (6/22/2010). There must be an error with these two updates since they both give the same error message: 1. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 for Windows 7 x64 2. Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile for Windows 7 x64 Has anyone found a fix or heard from Microsoft support?

: Use Event Viewer, save the recent (6/21 and later) logs under 'Application Logs \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Bits-client \ Operational‚Äô
and send them to us
This is how they can open Event Viewer:
Click the Start
button . In the Search
box, type Event Viewer
, and then, in the list of results, double-click Event Viewer
