OK, you've tacked onto to a post from 2007. Now what's the question ?
Is it ...
1) cannot use automatic updates
2) If I try to use automatic updates, they fail with the error code
0x80200011
3) None of the above
BTW, MS offers * no-charge * support for getting *Security updates*
installed. Since at least 2 of those are Security updates from *December
of 2009*, there's a *strong* likelihood that the system has been
compromised by malware.
You can also receive free support for getting the system cleaned up from
MS at the 1-866-PCSAFETY number if you are in the US or Canada:
" How to obtain help and support for this security update
For home users, no-charge support is available by calling 1-866-PCSAFETY
in the United States and Canada or by contacting your local Microsoft
subsidiary. For more information about how to contact your local
Microsoft subsidiary for support issues with security updates, visit the
Microsoft International Support Web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/common/....aspx?rdpath=4
North American customers can also obtain instant access to unlimited
no-charge e-mail support or to unlimited individual chat support by
visiting the following Microsoft Web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/oas/def...spx?&prid=7552 "
