KB970158 What is it?
I have an MS Intellipoint Laser Mouse V7.0 installed. I went to install V7.1 software and the following windows update KB970158 tagged along without my permission or knowledge. What was strange is that it didn't come thru the normal windows update process. I can't seem to find out what it is. MS doesn't even post an explanation as to what it is and it's function. I uninstalled V7.1 and my mouse stopped working. I subsequently uninstalled V7.1 and went back to V7.0 and everything now works. Can anybody tell me what this is about?
