KB977165 blue screen problem to some

Running XP Pro SP 2, Firefox 3.5.7, IE 7.0.5130.11, Avast AV 4.8.1368

I installed KB977165 along with other updates and have had no problems.

Should I still do the workaround to remove KB977165, etc. as shown in
Windows Update forum post by Kevin Hau here:
