Error code 80072F78 -- update fails at 45% downloaded [solved]

Windows Update continually failed to download some updates. Apparently, my
Comodo Firewall was interfering.

--Right click on Comodo system tray icon.

--Select Defense + Security Level.

--Select Disabled.

After download finishes, restore to prior mode (you can reset the security
level during the restore point creation -- any time after the download
portion has been completed).

I may try Training Mode next time, just for grins.

Thanks for posting this information, Mike. Which *version* of Comodo
caused the update download failure ?

Comodo has been previously known to cause other updating issues and it's
a wonder that folks still bother with it.
