HELP! Windows Update Error Code 80080005
Well I wanted my 1st post to be a nice friendly POSITIVE greeting...BUT, alas
it is re: an ongoing frustrating issue that I have invested far too much time trying to fix than I would have liked & yes I am still working on it.
ok problem is Windows Update Error Code 80080005. Not only am I unable to find any tech support via microsoft...they don't even acknowledge knowing of any such code...wonderful...tried some tips from a few scattered discussion threads but none of them panned out (obviously)
So please hear my desperate cries vistaheads!!! Any ideas?
Of course the basics have been tried...firewalls down, registry cleanup, windll files renamed, enabling event log for firewall exception etc...any other ideas?
