Power Point 2007 hangs up

Running Windows XP, Office 2007 , SP2.

Every time I try to open for edit a PPT imbedded Excel chart, PPT locks up,
reports error to MS , saves and restarts. No one in my office can open these
imbedded excel files without similar results

How does your question pertain to Windows Update, John? Try posting here
