Windows update and javascript errors

I am experiencing the following ploblems since I installed McAfee
VirusScan 8.7i + Antispyware. Now windows is failing to update either
itself or through Internet. Furthermore Iinternet Explorer is failing
to sign in in all windows and microsoft accounts and JAVASCRIPT looks
not responding. It is just responding: Done. I also noted that
WUWebcontrol class Activex is missing in Windows downlloaded
application files and on IE Add on.

A selfupdate indicate error 0x8024402f and 0x80072ee2 and as below
reported in software distribution file:

I am using Windows XP Professional SP 3 with Internet Explorer 8.

I tried different ways and searching on intenet for solution but
failed.

Have you contacted McAfee Support about this?

When did you install VirusScan Enterprise 8.7i? Have you purchased it? If
so, when does your subscription expire?

What anti-virus application was installed before you installed VirusScan
Enterprise 8.7i?

Did you recently have occasion to reinstall WinXP?

Did you encounter these errors before you installed IE8?
