Outlook Junk E-Mail Update

I can't seem to get any of the Outlook Junk E-Mail Filter Updates to install.
They download properly, but will not install. The latest Filter Update is
KB970011

I've tried the following:
Installing manually.
Re-Installing Office 2003
Outlook Detect & Repair
Stopping & Restarting the automatic update svc
Hitting the PC with a hammer....

Still won't install.

Personally by now I would have spat the dummy and used an axe but I guess
