I downloaded and tried to install it manually - It fails but at least it
explains that this update (genuine advantage notif...) was already part of
the WIN XP service pack 3 that I recently installed/updated my PC with and
that the version I was trying to install manually (found here) was older
than the one that was currently installed by SP3.
I believe this happened to me because my PC was disconnected from the
internet for a while and when I reconnected it to the Net the Windows updates
did not install in a chronological order... and obviously there is a problem
with Automatic Windows Update which is trying to install an older version of
Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB905474)
