my cd disc drives g: and h: will not recognize my norton 360 disc!

i've been trying to download norton 360 for a while, and i've had zero luck,
now i'm getting viruses that are trying to get me to accept shadey programs.

What does Symantec tell you?
(Norton 360 is a Symantec product and if you are trying to download it from
their web site (assuming you purchased it) they should provide customer
service.)

Personally - I think you would be better off with some other *just*
antivirus application and maybe a active antimalware protection application
and the Windows Firewall. Likely use much less resources and give you the
same if not better protection.

My suggestion, get MalwareBytes (www.malwarebytes.com) and install the free
version, update and do a full scan with it to see if you find/get rid of
anything currently infesting your system.

Backup your personal data, then do a format & clean install of Windows.
Please note that a Repair Install (AKA in-place upgrade) will NOT fix this!
