4 failures in monthly updates 14Apr2009
OpSys: XP(x86)-SP3; updated monthly.

PROBLEM:
Repeated failure of monthly updates (14Apr2009):
KB956572
KB959426 both XP; failing with 0x8007054F
KB959995 (Excel)
KB969376 (Outlook) both failing with 0x80070643
All other updates (8) were implemented successfully.

Attempred Resolution:

After following instructions found in the Knowkedge Base, I have
progressively worked through to a full reinstall of XP-SP3 and Office
2003.

The failures are occuring on just one out of three of our home-network.
Consequently, I have rolled-back the "System Restore" to the state
immediately after the previous monthly updates (14Mar2009).

Regardless of any actions taken, these four updates fail.

Any help would be appreciated.

Start a free Windows Update support incident request:
