UPDATING ISSUES....PLEASE HELP!!!!

I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I can't update anything on my computer.
I have 29 updates that need to be done, but I keep getting this error
code-8E5E03FA.
What does this mean? Is there anyone that can give me advise? I'm getting
really upset over this, nothing that I have tried has worked. Someone PLEASE
help me!!!

Vista or Vista SP1?

Is this a sudden, new problem?

Are all 29 updates Office updates? If so, which Office version (e.g.,
Office 2003)?

If you want help you will need to tell us what you tried and what the
results were.
