I tried to download defender, the error message said, "error g/drive" system
needs to be modified". How do I modify system and what does it mean?

Is that a Windows OS error or a browser error message ?
What is the installed edition of Windows and which Service Pack level is
it currently at ?
To *where* is Defender being downloaded to ?
Are you referring to Defender's definition updates or the program
itself ?
Is the system infected; what is the installed antivirus/security suite ?
