17 is a larger number for drivers.
In any case Windows Update does have drivers
but they are optional update. Optional or not I
would not update any drivers using Microsoft's
Windows Update web page.
Update your drivers from on of three sources:
1) The PC manufacture's web site,
2) The motherboard manufacture's web site.
3) The specific hardware driver for your Video,
Audio, Network, Etc. can also be downloaded
from sites like ATI, NVIDIA, Creative, etc.
You can also Belarc Advisor:
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
to identify the hardware you will need drivers for.
