Error 0x80070103 for Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chip

I have an update for the driver on Windows Update, but after it downloads it
fails to install.

The update was triggered after I downloaded an update from Dell for the same
driver, only to end up having my display screwed up. After rolling back the
driver to return to the default, I lost several display features and it never
went back to the default display settings. I am assuming this driver update
will fix this problem but I cant seem to install it.

The driver you are trying to install is already installed or the driver that
you're trying to install is an older driver than the one you have already.

It's not going to fix your problem.

You could perhaps try a system restore to a time before your updated the
driver in question to see if it rectifies the problem.

Am assuming Vista is your OS -
