KB955706 - MSQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3

Hi,

I have the developer edition of SQL Server 2005 and sp3 was installed.

I then downloaded and installed the trial version of Visual Studio 2008 and
selected to perform a full installation.

Since then KB955706 has been plaguing my existence even if I uninstall
Visual Studio.

My update history shows this update as being successful numerous times and I
have even downloaded the service pack and installed this manually... also
successfully.

Besides getting told that I have disabled important updates each time
windows update is run, is there any other way to ensure that KB55706 is
installed and doesn't keep reappearing?
