media player

It says my media player was not closed prprerly and as a resalt. all optional
plug-ins have been disabled. What do I have to do to fix this problem?

Well, what version of Media Player? What operating system? What service
pack level? What is the exact text of the messages?

This sounds like a feature. WMP wasn't shut down properly. To have it not
show that message, shut it down properly instead of "end tasking" it/killing
it.
