Graphic card update

Hi ive just got a new graphics card and installed it and it work for a few
mins and then went to a blue screen and shut my pc down, now when i go into
device manager it tells me i have a problem code 43 and i now have yellow
lines on my screen as well.
The card is a pov geforce 8500gt and my pc is a pcakard bell a3317 with the
amd trple core and onboard ati graphics.
Please someone help

Try the microsoft.public.windowsxp.hardware newgroup.

Let me get this straight ... you installed a video card to a system with
an onboard ATI card and you wonder why the system crashed ?
Did you disable the ATI card ?

You should contact the manufacturer of the card and see what they
suggest since this newsgroup deals with Windows Update issues, not
hardware issues that are unrelated to updating.
