Service Control Manager

In my error log I've been seeing "Automatic Live Update Scheduler service
failed to start due to the following error: the system cannot find the file
specified" in Windows XP.
I hope this isn't affecting my Automatic window updates for security purposes.
What can I do to correct this or what is the error saying?
